If you are lucky enough to be able to visit the beautiful countryside of Brisbane, there are things that you must do while there. Travelling in Brisbane on a budget may seem like a misnomer. The plane tickets to get there, the hotel accommodations and other travel expense may be already putting you well past your budget. Luckily some of the things that are fun and exciting to do while there, you can do without any money at all.

The Queensland Art Gallery is a free attraction open to the public that features the very best of the arts and culture of Australia. The art gallery will appeal to any age. Rich in culture and amazing talent, it is something not to be missed. The Queensland Museum, one of the last free museums, will introduce you to the history of Brisbane. From mummies, to treasures, to the outback, there are things for all ages. With daily exhibits, they sometimes have special events as well.



The one thing that cannot be missed, no matter where you chose to stay, is the wildlife that Brisbane has to offer. Whether you chose to take a tour, or visit a wildlife refuge, the amazing creatures of Australia are like none other on Earth. Just take a look around and make sure to take in all the sights around you. Merely traveling the countryside will allow you access to some pretty amazing sights.



If beautiful countryside is what you are in search of, the City Botanic Gardens is the perfect place. Although located in the city, it is home to the most exotic and majestic sights nature has to offer. Most of all while in Brisbane, make sure to smell the flowers and look around.
